This is our last CSA for awhile, we are headed out on a 3 week road trip and I am scheduling posts to publish while we are gone. Our CSA is going to our wonderful cat/house/fish/babysitter who will enjoy it, but clearly not document it for me.
This week we got double sugar snap peas, double spinach, lettuce, turnips, red russian kale and I picked pea shoots over basil, since I have a big basil plant that will need to be pruned before we leave.
What I made: Turnips and snap peas right eaten raw, salad with lettuce and pea shoots, braised kale with quinoa, and a big batch of sauteed spinach.
